A Discussion Group for People Interested in the Arts

We’re starting a new segment with some of our sessions by highlighting an individual for a portion of the meeting. I hoped when I started these OTM meetings that they would shape themselves into an effective vehicle for sharing, learning, and developing our work—all with inspiration and integrity. It’s happening!

Individuals from various disciplines decided to meet on the first Thursday of each month, and that each session will begin at 8 pm (ET). If you were unable to attend earlier, you’re welcome to register and attend next time.

Bring your thoughts, questions, and various points of view.

Finding a writer inspired by a physical therapist and dancer, and a musician widening his range of thought via discussion with a writer/painter/film producer, is inspiring. Let's see what happens next time.

We draw lines, find connections, refine and broaden understandings. We will contemplate, kick around, and chew on topics such as techniques, style, composition, perspective, approach, criticism, and more.

We may trace where topics migrate and we may plan some concrete events.

You can be instrumental in the topics up for discussion. If you have subjects that you are pondering, bring them to light with the group. Let us know what you would like to discuss.

Sometimes answers are revealed, sometimes additional questions arise. But—most definitely—healthy discussions enlighten. I usually feel like I’ve scratched an itch inside my head once the meeting is completed.
