A Series of Eight Tales
Trailer for Tales from Dapple Creek
OUR STORY
We made a pretty cool movie, Tales from Dapple Creek. It’s won scads of awards—forty national and international ones to date (see list below), and now we’re prepping for a second movie.
You know those ineffable moments when you can’t find the right word to say? You can feel it and sense its weight, but... A shrug of your shoulder or a tilt of your head best completes the message. The gesture conveys what words cannot say. That’s a vast part of how TDCconnects. It’s that and more—We Speak the Unspeakable.
More Story
Have you heard about our International Award-Winning movie, Tales from Dapple Creek (TDC)? We're extremely excited about how it's taken off! In case you haven't seen it, the work is raw, humanistic, and provides a unique movie of communication.
The copyright people in Washington, DC say this 27-minute movie is not "choreographic." They say it's a "dramatic work." And I say, "It's both." When you see it, I'm sure you'll agree with me.
The movie consists of eight tales. I have a few favorites, but like I tell most people, my favorite favorite is the last one, "Uncle Harold and Aunt Sue." We can discuss this and a plethora of other things at our Off the Marley sessions. You may have a different favorite.
